18Feb, 25 Feb 2022 - Response to managing COVID-19

On 18 February and 25 February 2022, the NSW Government is easing restrictions in response to COVID-19. This will have an impact on the conditions of entry for lessons with MJ Piano Lessons.

What conditions of entry are going?

  • No density limits.

  • No QR check-in required.

  • MJ Piano Lessons' COVID hardship policy will be retired.

Friday, 25 February 2022, some conditions of entry to MJ Piano Lessons will be removed:

  • Masks are no longer mandatory, however, masks are encouraged where you cannot maintain a safe distance from others.

What conditions of entry are staying?

Friday, 18 February 2022, you will still need to wear a mask.

Friday, 25 February 2022, masks are encouraged where you cannot maintain a safe distance from others.

What else should I know? MJ Piano Lessons will be retaining a few of the new 'norms' we have all become accustomed to into the future regardless of whether there is a government directive or not, until further notice:

  • Online lessons will be made available to anyone who reasonably needs them.

  • The piano, other instruments and piano stool will be sanitised in between each student's or family's lesson.

  • Hand sanitiser, masks and individual tissue packets will be made available throughout the teaching space.

  • Bins will have a closed lid that is opened by using a foot pedal or automatically.

  • Pencils with erasers will be sanitised after use.

Please keep top of mind that we should always be staying at home if we are sick, so please do not attend lessons if you are unwell.
