The NSW Premier has eased restrictions today for the Greater Sydney area from today, Friday 26 February, 2021.

MJ Piano Lessons will maintain the conditions of entry published 29 January 2021 for students and parents as the latest changes have little impact on the existing COVID management plan.

The only possible change available would be to increase the number of visitors permitted from a maximum of four to nine, however there has never been a necessity for such numbers and should they be allowed, it would prove to be very disruptive for the student.

Everyone is reminded to please stay at home if they are unwell, continue practising good hygiene, maintain social distancing and to wear a mask if you are unable to maintain social distancing.

Online piano lessons are available to all students at any time.

In the NSW Government's press statement release on 24 February 2021, Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the easing of restrictions was due to the support of the NSW community.

“With the rollout of the vaccine now underway, and no new locally acquired cases in NSW, we are able to make further changes towards a new ‘COVID normal’,” Ms Berejiklian said.

“I thank the community for following the health advice to keep the virus at bay. However, we cannot become complacent.”
