QR Code check-in system compulsory

Updated: Jan 29, 2023

Use of the Service NSW QR Code check-in service will be mandatory at all NSW businesses from Monday 12 July, the government has announced.

QR codes are set to give NSW Health contact tracers real-time access to useful data from a greater number of locations.

When piano lessons return to be delivered in-house, students and parents will be asked to please check in with the QR code every time they enter the premises of MJ Piano Lessons.

“This is about keeping customers and staff safe and getting all businesses open again as soon as possible,” said NSW minister for digital and customer service Victor Dominello.

“There is no excuse not to check-in everywhere you can.”

NSW health inspectors and police will be monitoring the situation.
