A Morning of Making Music

Updated: Jan 29, 2023

On Saturday 19 June 2021, existing MJ Piano Lessons students, parents and siblings have been invited to gather for a free and special event: 'A Morning of Making Music'. This event is part of the international celebrations for ‘Make Music Day’.

The performance and workshop style event is structured to provide valuable opportunities for both students and their parents to share and learn. It will give some of our younger students their very first moment of performing a piece or two in front of some familiar faces and for many, their first chance at playing a grand piano.

A highlight of the event will be the presentation of the All Rounder Awards 2021.

This event is especially important for High School and Adult students who will not just perform, but have the very memorable and rewarding experience of sharing and inspiring our younger musicians.

The opportunities available go to the heart of why the internationally celebrated Make Music Day was first incepted some 38 years ago in France, which is why Rob Walker, CEO of Make Music Australia Day has agreed to list this event of ours as an official event.
